The research team takes enzymes, the "chip" core of synthetic biology and green biomanufacturing, as research objects; analyzes the atomic precision structural basis of biological processes through crystallization (x-ray diffraction) and cryo-electron microscopy; explains the dynamic molecular mechanism of quantum precision through computational methods such as QM and MD; develops an AI-driven intelligent design platform for enzyme molecules and builds a new database of biocatalytic elements; and carries out targeted design and application development for major industrial fields such as chemical industry, biomedicine, light industry and food. The research team is committed to overcoming the scientific difficulties of multi-scale-complex system-dynamic process interweaving and expanding the design boundaries of functional biomacromolecules.
